Get the latest info on rebate programs and funding Due to the unstable and wildly fluctuating cost of utility bills in today's unpredictable energy market, the CPUC, (California Public Utilities Commission) along with California's local utilities have been offering "Energy Rebates" to consumers to help them make their homes more energy efficient.
These programs have been a wild success, and have resulted in savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars to the home energy consumer on the cost of insulating their homes. These rebate dollars are substantial, and easy to acquire.
These rebate programs however are renewed year to year at the discretion of the California Public Utilities Commission, and the duration is predicated on a finite amount of funds. These funds are available to consumers on a first come, first served basis and carry certain restrictions.
