Welcome

hiring a home improvement contractor it is important to know whom you're

the wrong contractor can result in personal, and financial disaster!

We
are "Approved Contractors" with the League of California
Homeowners. We are members of the Western Regional Master Builders
Association.
Because
we are proud of our reputation, we want you to "check us out"!
This should be done whenever you are considering using any contractor.
You need to know important things about the contractor such as:
Does the contractor hold a valid contractors
license with the State of California?
Does
the contractor have a current "Home Improvement Certification"
associated with his license? Only licensed contractors who do have the
legal standing to enter into a contract with a homeowner, to perform
work in your home.
Is
their license in good standing, or does the contractor have civil and/or
regulatory judgments pending against him, or her?
What
is the contractor's actual name, and what is their physical address?
In other words, where can you find him if you need to?
Is
the contractor insured with both liability insurance, as well as workers
compensation insurance? Is the contractor bonded?
This
is information you as a California consumer are legally entitled to.
If a contractor does not meet these basic criteria you need to ask yourself,
"should I trust this contractor?"
To inquire about us, or any contractor for that matter, you may
contact the California
Contractors State License Board by clicking the highlight, or
by going to our Professional Contacts/Links
page, where you can link directly with their website, or find their
toll-free phone number, fax number, e-mail and mailing address.
You
may also be interested to know that we are "Approved Contractors"
with the League
of California Homeowners. This is a private consumer advocacy
group that puts its potential contractor members through a rigorous
screening process to determine their overall creditability, financial
condition, and ultimate reliability.
This
organization makes sure that a contractor is financially responsible
by making sure he has up to date worker's compensation and liability
insurance, and is bonded. They also check to see if a contractor has
a good credit rating, and pays his suppliers on time. To contact them
you may go directly to our Professional
Contacts/Links page or simply click the highlight for more information
about them.
Remember,
getting the best possible price is important, but picking the right
contractor is vital when making improvements to your home. It can
be the difference between getting stuck with a sub-standard job, and
even the contractor's debts, or getting what you paid for, with a promise
that the contractor will be there to stand behind his work.
For
information on pricing go to our Reach Us
page, and let us put together an estimate, just for you!
"Making
your home more comfortable, and your energy bills less expensive is
